CyNam Patent Workshop

featured-image.jpg

Albright LLP hosted an interesting and informative workshop on patenting software at their premises on 2 November. Those attending commented on how useful and valuable it was and also how much it had alerted them to the fact that it is a very real and sometime ambiguous issue that requires clarifying when applied to anything technical. Albright, in the capable hands of patent attorney, Freddie Noble, were able to do this explaining in clear and simple terms the issues that arise when designing and inventing software.

Our thanks to Albright for hosting and for making the event such a success.

An interesting set of presentations and great networking coupled with drinks and nibbles made for a very pleasant, interesting and informative evening. Hosted once again by Chris Dunning Walton and sponsored by 6 local technical companies, attendees are already voicing their positive feedback and support through the website, email and face to face. The announcement that CyNam has is a fully formed entity with board and chair was a massive boost for the community knowing they have a central point to go to when they need help, guidance or advice. As CyNam establishes itself this website will grow to include all the support available to those that need it.
